Xmedia recode shouldn’t need it since FFMpeg handles nearly all formats.

Note, make sure you have the appropriate codecs installed otherwise audio convert will crash out the app!

I’ve figured it out finally, the audio settings have to be as follows:

Modus – Convert (Only because it won’t let you copy)

Codec – AC3

Language – English (Whatever language you want)

Sample Rate – 48000

Rate Control Mode – Constant bitrate

Bitrate – 384

Channels – Stereo

Works flawlessly.

Click the Format tab then click the Profile drop down list. You should see Microsoft in there. Once you have selected Microsoft you will get the Xbox profiles in the dropdown just below it.

Yeah there is not a xbox profile to convert… I don’t have it on surround sound either… Frustrating…

Only time I’ve had that error is when the file has had surround sound. On the first tab you can select an Xbox profile and convert the file to that but it may take a while.

On some of my video files it doesn’t give me the option to copy. What are the settings you use then? Use the aac or the mp3, I’ve tried both of those settings and the xbox gives me an error saying can not play due to blah blah blah.
