Gherardo,
Almost 90% of the time, if you ask this question you will get flamed. If you aren't sure what "flamed" means, it means to be bitched out for being a dumbass. This question has been answered 1.e+18 times over. It's been talked about in countless tutorials (I know for a fact because it's been talked about in at least two of my older tutorials that might still be found somewhere in googles caches if you are lucky) and in even more forum discussions. It's basic networking 101 and if you took a few seconds to learn computers communicate and what an IP address is, what it's used for, and how packets work. Such a question would be fairly obsolete. I'm not going to flame you, I'm just going to tell you that the easiest way to obtain an IP address is through a direct connection. From that statement, you should be able to use google and find out everything else you need to know.
