Subject: Having troubles...not sure what I did wrong
Hi. I have guestbook 2.3.1 and am trying to use the human verification thing on it. I carefully followed your instructions, yet when I am trying to test it tomake sure it works, I obviously did something wrong. The error I get back when I try to post is: You forgot to fill in the Name field. Please correct it and re-submit. Even though I did fill in the Name field.

Can you tell me where I might have copied something down wrong, so I know where to look?

hey hows it going i did the modifications to AGB V.2.3.1  everything is good except when i submit it dos,nt go through i still get the message "You forgot to fill in the Human Verification field. Please correct it and re-submit."  although the word is there i even mispelled the word but same thing ...i tried changing the word a couple times but still same message do you know what i could be missing

Oh Great One...
I too am adding the human verification and ran into the same problem as a poster a few pages back. I don't have the code

but I do have

so....do I replace the above with

Subject: unable to submit comments
salutations,like everyone else,i was at my wits end and about to scrap the guestbook when i found this site.your efforts are greatly appreciated.i thought i copied your code correctly,but the submit button doesn't do anything after i've entered the correct password,neither does the preview button,nor either of the links on top.the only thing on the addentry page that seems to work is the reset button.any ideas?i'm at a loss.

Subject: fixing spam problem
To change the programming in advanced guestbook 2.3.3, I logged in as admin and found templates/form.php.  But I don't know where to find addentry.php or index.php (or even if i have the nuke thing).  And also where do I find lib/add.class.php and lang/english.php????

hiii i have a big problem  :( i tryed to do everything that you have said but it dosn't want to save
it gives me this

I feel like a bit of a quack.  I followed the instructions for 2.3.4 (2.3.2) and I get this error when I try to leave a msg on my guest book.

Guestbook - Error      
You forgot to fill in the Human Verification field. Please correct it and re-submit.


I do not see a tab or a place to check off that I am a human

I did back up the files I edited before I made any chances.

What do you think I missed?  I have tried twice and still got the same GB error.

I checked out  Carbonize's BG and there is a field to type in the word SMURFING.  I am not sure what I have missed but I do not get that added to my GB when I followed the instructions for 2.3.2.

I am using AGB 2.3.4

Any sugestions?

You could just update to 2.4 as it comes with image verification.
