            <title>admin password not working</title>
            <link>http://carbonize.co.uk/Old/Forum/thread/486</link>
            <description><![CDATA[
I haven't had to admin my guestbook for quite some time thanks to the anti-spam measures included - but there's a post I wanted to remove, and I can't log into the admin section.&nbsp; I've checked that the password is correct and caps lock not on and all that - but it just won't let me in.<br />
<br />
I logged into the database, and see the username is correct - is there any way to set a new admin password?

            <title>Problems with the include option</title>
            <link>http://carbonize.co.uk/Old/Forum/thread/484</link>
            <description><![CDATA[
Hi, great guestbook, I prefere it over advanced guestbook for sure. Just a slight problem I was hoping someone could help me with. I have used the guestbook for a while and have always used the include option to intergrate it in to my webpage. Since changing my website over from HTML 4.01 to XHTML 1.0 when visitors try to view the guestbook page (integrated guestbook page) there is a syntax error [Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /mnt/w0400/d43/s03/b029bbdf/www/mydomain.com/gb.php on line 1. ] any idea how I can fix this other than changing the doc type back to HTML 4.01 or not using the include option?

Hi Carbonize<br />
<br />
I tried to install this, and followed all the directions, but I'm getting an error.<br />
<br />
Could not select the database because: Unknown database 'agbook1'<br />
<br />
I created the database using phpmyadmin<br />
<br />
My config.inc.php variables are<br />
<br />
$GB_DB['dbName'] = 'agbook1'; // The name of your MySQL Database<br />
$GB_DB['host']&nbsp;&nbsp; = 'localhost'; // The server your database is on. Localhost is usualy correct<br />
$GB_DB['user']&nbsp;&nbsp; = 'root'; // Your MySQL username<br />
$GB_DB['pass']&nbsp;&nbsp; = ''; // Your MySQL password<br />
<br />
$GB_PG['base_url'] = '<a href="http://localhost/xoops" title="http://localhost/xoops">http://localhost/xoops</a>';<br />
<br />
Any ideas?<br />
<br />
Thanks<br />

I'm setting up my site in a CMS called XOOPS. Excellent little CMS by the way.<br />

Anyway, How can I get Lazarus to show up within Xoops instead of as an external link. Right now Lazarus is templated to look like the way my site is now, but that will change when Xoops goes live.<br />
<br />
Any help would be appreciated.<br />

Click HERE to close this window.'); } header("Location: $GB_PG[index]"); break; default: $admin-&gt;show_panel("intro"); break; } } ?&gt;<br />
<br />
<br />
Here is a direct link to our guestbook in case you would like to see for yourself:<br />

            <title>table renamed after upgrade</title>
            <link>http://carbonize.co.uk/Old/Forum/thread/328</link>
            <description><![CDATA[
Something went wrong while upgrading from Advanced Guestbook to Lazarus.<br />
I cannot login into Lazarus guestbook. In my phpmyadmin I see that the table ‘auth’ has an different name.<br />
<br />
How can I change the table name? I’m using phpmyadmin 2.5.7 with mysql 4.0.24, the host tells me that it is not possible to change the name. I am able to run a mysql query. But I do know nothing about mysql.<br />
<br />
The table name is now: gbook_reiscafen_auth and is should be: gbook_reiscafe_auth.<br />
<br />
<br />
As workaround I edited config.inc.php from:<br />
$table_prefix = 'gbook_reiscafe';<br />
(some more lines)<br />
$GB_TBL['data']&nbsp; = $table_prefix.'_auth;<br />
<br />
to:<br />
$GB_TBL['auth']&nbsp; = 'gbook_reiscafen_auth';<br />
<br />
Which works, but if anyone can tell me how to change the table name. I would be very pleased.

I'm using the Advanced Guestbook. But when having problems with PHP4.4 (password, smiley's) I was looking around for some solution.<br />
When I saw the guestbook of Lazarus, I saw an much better looking guestbook. Multiple browser icons an so on…<br />
<br />
In a test I upgraded the Advanced Guestbook to Lazarus. But now I see that Lazarus uses other templates. How can I easy use my own old template? Or can I better customise the template files from Lazarus (tpl files)?

            <title>Changed foldername after running installer</title>
            <link>http://carbonize.co.uk/Old/Forum/thread/319</link>
            <description><![CDATA[
Hi Carbonize,<br />
<br />
I am such an idiot. Ok, I was running AG 2.3.1 and I am attempting to upgrade to Lazarus. The folder for AG was<br />
/public_html/guestbook/<br />
<br />
I altered the config file of Lazarus to the current AG settings and uploaded the Lazarus script(including agupdate.php) into /public_html/gbook/<br />
<br />
I want to install Lazarus in a folder called guestbook instead of gbook. The problem is I ran the agupdate.php script and then only I renamed it to guestbook(while renaming the original guestbook folder to something else). So I believe due to the fact that I ran agupdate.php before renaming the folder for Lazarus to guestbook, I am getting these errors after logging in agupdate.php to run the installer again :-<br />
<br />
<span style="color:violet">Error: Duplicate column name 'comaccepted'<br />
Query: <br />
<br />
Error: Duplicate column name 'encrypt_email'<br />
Query: <br />
<br />
Error: Duplicate column name 'msn'<br />
Query: <br />
<br />
Error: Duplicate column name 'msn'<br />
Query:</span> <br />
<br />
I didn't back up the MySQL database before running the installer. What can I do? I have no knowledge of MySQL or PHPMyAdmin. How do I start all over again?<br />
<br />
Thanks dude!

<br />
I am using the same u-name as here. Can you check it for me? Did I actually register in the new forum even, and do I need too.&nbsp; :?: <br />

Thanks.

            <title>Editing in dreamweaver</title>
            <link>http://carbonize.co.uk/Old/Forum/thread/310</link>
            <description><![CDATA[
Hello people,<br />
<br />
First of all I want to thank the guys who made this good piece of work!<br />
<br />
Now I have a question. <br />
<br />
I installed the guestbook and it works. Now I want to adjust the guestbook to my own website. I want to make my own colours (that seems easy) and I want to add my own pics. But how can I see what has changed? Should I upload the changes every time, or can I also preview them offline with Dreamweaver?<br />
<br />
The template files in the map templates have an other extension (which is unknown to my comp) then the templates which are online. I assume I should edit the templates in order to get my own preferences...<br />
<br />
Who can help me out. If anyone prefers to tell me in Dutch, I don't mind.<br />
<br />
Henry
